    Good food, lighting doesn't do the mood well, and interior is a bit out of date. Menu card holder could be replaced

    A bit tired in appearance, not a fantastic choice of ale but the one local ale on draft was a nice pint. Barman was a top bloke very friendly, chatty and knowledgeable. A local pub in a small Scottish town with some great history.

    Ate a meal here and stayed the night ... I'd have another meal there but not impressed too much with the overnight stay, however the sparkly toilet seats did add extra character to a dismal room.
